The “Local” Plug: Three Carbon 3rensho?!
Back in January, when I was in Tokyo, I found myself standing in front of something I genuinely felt lucky to witness. During a visit to 25Las, he showed me his most recent acquisition: not one, but three Carbon 3Rensho track frames.
For years, they had been lying dormant inside a countryside Keirin velodrome in Japan, untouched and almost forgotten, until the owner finally decided it was time to “make space.”
They carry their share of paint scratches, honest marks from another life, but from what we could inspect, there are no visible structural cracks.
Two measure 470 mm (seat tube, center-to-center), and one comes in at 490 mm. All three have been authenticated as genuine 3Rensho frames by several knowledgeable friends and experts we trust.
They deserve more than a wall, and Nickolas is only willing to let them go to a lucky few who will actually ride them. These are rare pieces, with prices starting north of $1,500 USD, and Nickolas asked me to spread the word for potential international buyers. And since The Slow Spin Secret Grey Market isn’t a thing yet (or is it...?), I’ll be happy to help make everything happen smoothly for everyone. So if you’re serious and would like to inquire, you can do so just below.
You don’t see that everyday huh?!
