Affinity Recall due to fork failure

Blue Lug and Affinity are issuing a recall for six frames sold after February 2024. The frames below might be subject to fork failure, so before taking action, you should stop riding this frame immediately. As of now, Blue Lug, is the only one that has officially stated this real but here are the fames concerned:

  • 2024 Lo Pro Track Frame Set (Cognac Brown)

  • 2024 Lo Pro Track Frame Set (Iridescent Gray)

  • 2024 Lo Pro Track Frame Set (Keirin Sparkle Black)

  • 2024 Metropolitan Track Frame Set (Lilac Breeze)

  • 2024 Metropolitan Track Frame Set (Film Grain Black)

  • 2024 Metropolitan Track Frame Set (Keirin Sparkle Black)

To be sure, you can look at your serial number under your bottom bracket. If your frame falls in-between:

  • Lo Pro: M23110641 to M23110803

  • Metropolitan: M23110804 to M23110887

You are then most definitely concerned by this recall. No official release from Affinity as of now, but you can check Blue Lug’s original post here ➡️ bluelug.com
