Schwalbe’s Clik Valve, Abbey’s new tool, and Darimo seat combo
Schwalbe’s New “Clik Valve” could replace the Persta valve.
Schwalbe’s just announced something new. The “Click Valve” is a new tire valve system that looks easier to use but also more compact. You will need a new pump head to be compatible with the new valve, but the easiness of use might redefine the industries standard. You can learn more here ➡️ clikvalve.com
Abbey’s new Chain Wear Tool
Abbey was at Eurobike 2024, and one of their brand-new product is this chain wear tool for 1x drivetrains. Able to measure normal wear like the elongation of chain over time, but also lateral wear! Made with CNC machining from billet aluminum, Abbey is achieving tolerances as tight as 0.005mm which is apparently way more precise than many other chain wear tools that are usually laser cut.

Darimo seat combo unveiled at Eurobike
We knew Darimo was preparing something, we just didn’t know what. And lucky for us, the good folks at r2bikes were very “extensive” about their Eurobike coverage. There isn’t many details yet but what we can see is a seatpost-saddle combo from Darimo with this almost “organic” shape. More details soon, probably on their Instagram page ➡️ @darimocarbon
