Lachlan Morton Race the Pony Express Route

Lachlan Morton set out October 5th to race the Pony Express route, 1,966 miles from St. Joseph, Missouri to Sacramento, California. The fastest Pony Express riders covered it in seven days and 17 hours, changing horses every ten miles. Morton will swap between his Cannondale TopStone, SuperSix, and Scalpel depending on terrain, while brother Gus follows by truck, filming and handling resupply.

Kyoot’s Flat Pack Pizza Rack

Kyoot just launched the Flat Pack Pizza Rack, a headtube-mounted cargo rack for their mini-velo lineup. Made from aluminum plates with M5 hardware, it clamps around the 39mm headtube on the Rolly Polly and Itty Bitty models, carrying 25 pounds. Pill-shaped slots fit Voile straps, and M5 bolt holes mount baskets or accessories. It disassembles flat with a 4mm Allen key. Preorder price: $120.

Tailfin’s Journey Pannier Rack

Tailfin just released the Journey Rack, the third generation of their quick-release rear rack and the first built to run any brand's panniers, not just their own. Made from 6061-T6 aluminum, it comes in two versions: a 592g non-pannier model rated to 22kg, and a 761g pannier version rated to 32kg. Both fold flat for travel and mount via Tailfin's axle.
