Should Slow Spin Society move from Patreon to Buy Me a Coffee?
With Patreon fees increasing by 23% this year and Slow Spin Society taking 100% of my time, sustaining the platform and myself has become more challenging. Buy Me a Coffee offers a more flexible model, including one-time donations, which might better support the future of Slow Spin Society.
Podcasting has been especially demanding recently, with each episode requiring over 12 hours of work. Next year, I’m considering taking a break from podcasting to focus on other areas of the platform.
