The design took two awards at Bespoked London. A £99 deposit secures batch two, delivering mid-November.

SimWorks partnered with Japan's premier down maker NANGA on the Sleeping Capsule, an ultralight quilt built for cyclists. Removing the zipper and hood brings it to roughly 260g of 770FP water-repellent duck down, rated to 7°C for spring and autumn touring. The slender stuff sack fits a standard bottle cage, or packs into a 1-liter Nalgene for fully waterproof carry. ¥61,100 (about $377) and shipping now.

Yellow Bird Thread Works Crank Rotondo

Photo by: Yellow Bird Thread Works

Yellow Bird Thread Works just released the Crank Rotondo, a set of caps for square taper cranks that doubles as a crank extractor. A nylon washer sits inside to prevent binding and wear on the threads. Four designs are available at $65, and they are shipping today. It is a small piece of jewelry that earns its place in the toolbox too.
