Blue Lug collaborates with Ritchey in their 20th anniversary celebration by relearsing a Ritchey x Blue Lug Garden City Frame, designed by Ritchey's Fergus Tanaka and limited to 100 worldwide, each serial numbered. The grey and blue colorway draws from Tokyo's asphalt and bike lane markings, doubling as a nod to JKA racing colors. Same geometry as the original 2024 release, no cable guides. Priced at $1,375. With early release in Japan on June 26th and the worldwide online release follows on June 29th at 7pm JST.

Shimano’s New 2.2mm Thick Rotors!

Shimano releases their new 2.2mm discs, bumping up from the previous 1.75mm and surpassing SRAM's popular 2.0mm HS2 design. Available in 200mm and 220mm sizes, dropping the oddball 203mm diameter entirely, with a new vent hole design aimed at better modulation and less hand fatigue. Compatible with XTR, Deore XT, and Deore 4-piston brakes. Priced from $60 to $80.

Shimano Updates Deore XT Trail PD-M8220

Shimano redesigns its Deore XT trail pedals with the PD-M8220, bringing a wider platform, four adjustable traction pins, and an XTR-inspired grip pattern for confidence when unclipped. Optimized for the new multi-directional CL-MT001 cleats with sealed bearings for reliable wet weather performance. Weighs 472g a pair, priced at $160. Alongside it, the PD-MT520 takes over from the long-running PD-M520 as an everyday SPD option at $55.
