Crust Desert Brat, Blue Lug Shorts, and BESPOKED x SRAM Scholarship Recipients

Crust Bikes’ Desert Brat: Aluminum ATB

Crust Bikes just launched the Desert Brat, an aluminum all-terrain tourer built from Spencer Harding's time riding their Scapebot. The 6061 frame clears 29x2.6 inch tires, adds a portage handle and kickstand mount, and keeps a tapered headtube so riders can swap the stock steel fork for carbon. It ships in one Black and Khaki Crackle colorway, sizes MD to XL, for $1,050.

Blue Lug Shorts 3rd Round Restock!

Blue Lug restocked their bike shorts for a third round, now in ten colors with four new additions to the lineup. Feedback shaped three revisions: a new key loop, extra room through the waist and hip, and thicker belt tape that resists slipping. Priced at ¥7,920 (about $49), they land at the Hatagaya store to try on July 25-26, with online sales opening July 27.

BESPOKED and SRAM just named the four recipients of their 2026 Inclusivity Scholarship, funding underrepresented framebuilders to exhibit at BESPOKED Dresden this September. Vincent Morassi, Carlos Santa Clara, Daniel Hoffman, and Harry Prescott each get exhibition space, mentorship, and SRAM components ahead of the show. Their builds span a stainless bikepacking frame to a biocomposite road bike, proof craft finds a way regardless of resources.
