This is the revived “VAN STEM” by NITTO, originally produced in the late ’90s for ATB bikes and now re-released for the modern era. Built from aluminum with a nod to its BMX/ATB roots, the stem features a 60 mm length, 25.4mm clamp diameter and a retro boxy look. You can find it here ➡️ store.bluelug.com
Sofiane is coming home!
Sofiane Sehili, the French ultra-distance cyclist that was detained in Russia (we mentioned here a few weeks ago) will soon be released from a Russian detention following his attempted unsupported bike ride from Portugal to Vladivostok. He was stopped near the China–Russia border after covering roughly 17,700 km and fined 50,000 rubles (≈ US $615), likely to be waived.
