Nomad Cycles Kickstarter Campaign
Nomad Cycles of Portland launched a Kickstarter to hand-build two modular, repairable e-bikes: the Double Down, a steel mid-drive commuter with “passive suspension,” and the Kickback, a relaxed step-through city bike. You can choose a 750W mid-drive or 1,000W hub motor options. Pricing starts at $4,950, with deliveries expected in December 2025. Shimano’s new CL-MT001 cleats
These Shimano’s new CL-MT001 two-bolt cleat have undergo their first redesign in nearly 30 years! Now introducing multi-directional entry that allows riders to clip in from the front, back, or straight on. Said to improves engagement angles, walkability, and durability, using heat-treated forged steel. But most importantly, these are backward-compatible with existing SPD pedals and cleats.
