Hey everyone!
Very, very special episode for you today (As always, huh?)! This is a big step forward for the SSS podcast as we are officially having our first episode with the guys over at Chrome Industries! In anticipation of Chrome’s new shoe releases, we had Josh and Matt from Chrome Industries hop on and talk us through the design and material choices for the shoes! We also discussed their collaboration with Panaracer to supply some high-quality and durable outsoles that will outlive your foot jams, their innovative PowerPlate Shank system that provides a nice mix of rigidity and flexibility, the sole profile that offers maximum grip and interaction with flat pedals, and more.
As mentioned in the podcast, both of us have received a pair of the new Chrome Kursk and were able to test them out for over a week. We have nothing but good things to say about this iteration of the Kursk which forms the best casual sneaker-clipless shoe on the market right now. The new Kursk (Pro), Dima, Southside (Pro/Low) are releasing in three new colorways and in smaller sizes (!!!) this Wednesday, the 15th of September at 9 AM PST.
