#39 Fixedgear and brand loyalty. When the name matters!

Shownotes

Hello everyone!

Didn’t we all drool over some branded stuff? A good pair of wheels, maybe a limited chainring, or the last Rapha jersey? Of course, you did! And as much as we all enjoy owning certain brands, there is an entirely mental phenomenon behind all that. It appears that brand loyalty is built on six psychological bases: product quality, the image of the brand, perceived value, switching cost, availability, and service, and finally you, the customer’s psychology. In this episode, we tried to resolve all this science mumbo jumbo by testing it on a brand we know all too well...Zipp.

So are you part of those loyal customers ready to do everything to upgrade, sidegrade, or just buy more? Turns out we are!
