Season 2 is Finally Here!

We made it! After a few months of technical issues and setbacks, episode 100 of the Slow Spin Society podcast is finally online! But before you jump into your listening session, let me tell you a bit more about this new season.

After over a hundred episodes of online meetings and scheduling around different time zones, I did the simplest thing for me: I’m just going to record with the people I’m surrounded by at the moment. Everything is happening on the spot, with minimal planning, but still enough to have good audio and video quality. Yes, you heard me right – video is a thing now, since we’re in the same room, we might as well record all of it. So every episode will be available on YouTube, and on Patreon for the extended version.

I first saw the final results of episode 100 only a few days before public release. And I can already see areas where we could improve, and some stuff we might change. But at the time of writing this, I already have five episodes pre-recorded and just awaiting mixing. So you might see the learning curve starting to kick in, only in a few months.

Also! Recording with people face to face, while on camera, is way harder than I would have ever thought. There are a bunch of times when you’re going to see me spit out straight nonsense and lose my English for no reason. But if it was perfect from the get-go, that wouldn’t even be funny.
