Same as the Weis Hammer track steel ➡️ While the Weis Ti might be a good tool to flex that special titanium tubing of yours, the range of paint options available on the steel version is nothing short of impressive. The steel frame is, unsurprisingly, a bit heavier than its titanium counterpart, but the level of craftsmanship remains equally high across both.

On top of that, we need to appreciate the efforts done to get this rear brake bridge as well as the tubing work done to the chainstays to get such tire clearance on a track bike while keeping the Weis DNA.

Geometry and sizing 7/10
Versatility 9/10
Handling and comfort 9/10

With 40mm of clearance, it is a true Tracklocross bike, which you can of course use as a track bike for the street with bigger tires. But being a TX bike, I can’t shake the fact that I would have loved a true horizontal top tube, or even a sloping one. It still handle really well, and can push to a quite aggressive riding style; with a rear so stiff, skids will be a piece of cake on virtually any tire.

SSS Factor 8/10

I really enjoyed riding this Tracklocross version, but I’m wondering if this should rather be classified as a street track bike with bigger tire clearance, because the city is probably where you’ll have the most fun with it.
