My introduction to film photography came through my grandfather’s cameras, which led to a long-term commitment to analog processes. The slower, more deliberate nature of film became a way to document the people and places encountered.
For the past five years, I’ve combined photography and cycling through Slow Spin Society, a platform I founded to document bicycle subculture. The project welcomed over 120,000 unique visitors last year.
A selection of my photographs was featured in Love Letter Turbo, published in 2024 by French Press, and presented three solo exhibitions in Tokyo, most recently Where were you? in winter 2025.
