Privitera Valentin Pista by Shinji Okumasa

Description: This is the Love of my Life.
I'm kidding! Mostly.

This specific frame was bought used off a father/son track racer duo, as far as my understanding goes the father used this frame for racing in concrete velodromes in Argentina for about 5 years until he had to stop due to an injury. It's seen its fair share of action on the track, and it now lives a quiet life as a commuter, rolling through the quiet side-streets of Yokosuka, in Japan.

As it is a tailor-made frame, its sizing is a bit peculiar for its time, perhaps similar to today's road sizing charts. It measures in at 47x50, which coincidentally fits me very well.

I can confidently say that this bike is the only Privitera in the northern hemisphere, as well as the only one in the Eastern hemisphere. If you own one, I gladly ask you to prove me wrong.
If you want more pictures, you can find them in my instagram account @sfelizzia. I'd be glad to start a convo about bikes with you!
