So without further ado, let’s get into what happened on SSS this past month!

Logan from Weis — who handles paint, anodizing, and decals — rides a custom Weis Hammer Track with 54.5 cm geometry and vibrant, poison-frog-inspired paint. Built with classic Japanese Sugino and Nitto parts, Profile hubs on Hed rims, and personal touches like a preserved accident dent and Bad Brains sticker, the bike reflects both personality and craftsmanship.

Logan’s Scarab Páramo gravel bike features a stunning “Tropical Cliché” custom paint and a Columbus Life/Spirit frame with generous tire clearance. Built with SRAM Red XPLR, Enve In-Route parts, and Rolf Prima wheels, the bike blends classic components with thoughtful details — like a chain peg and red-anodized accents — making it capable on both gravel and chunky trails.

Ludek (@_ludography) documents the Fixated 2025 FGFS event in Rotterdam, capturing riders and momentum with both film and digital cameras. After meeting the organizer and shooting last year’s competition, he returned with new gear to get closer to the action. His photos, shot on various film stocks and lenses, are now frames he proudly displays on his walls.

Curve’s custom GMX+ is a monster gravel/adventure bike built with 2.8″ Teravail tires and a flat-bar setup, reimagining the drop-bar bikepacking machine. It features sliding dropouts, a belt drive option, and a heavily reinforced Curve Seek VGM 430 fork rated for heavy front loads. Designed for comfort and all-terrain capability, it’s a refined, versatile off-road utility machine.

The IIWII (It Is What It Is) fixed-gear frame reflects a thoughtful Chinese cycling scene with its unique chemical-etched finish. Made from 6061 aluminum with pursuit geometry, it feels at home on fast, open night rides but less so in tight city traffic. The distinctive design and details reward riders seeking something expressive and different.

At Bespoked Dresden, LeoVelo’s custom gravel bike “The Takkro” stood out with its fast-looking stance and thoughtful steel craftsmanship. Built from Columbus Zona with Sram Red XPLR, custom Tune parts, and unique frame details like rotated chainstays and sleek UDH dropouts, it balances bold style with rugged capability. The burgundy-to-silver fade was a happy accident that became part of its story.
