June/July’s Newsletter

It’s recap time! You know the drill. More podcasts, more blog post and always the desire to do more even if we do end up running out of energy. So! Do you think you might have missed something? Let’s found out.

Stuff to Listen to…

I have to admit, travel got the better of me and I didn’t get to do the June Newsleter corectly. So here is a recap of June and July! With podcast of the summer first being with Dustin a.k.a. @dustinthewing_bicycle_repair! Working at Philwood Components, Dusting gave us some great insights on the inner workings of the company. Secret projects, wheelbuilding tips, and much more in the episode.

Next up might be interesting if you’re just getting back on the saddle. Having a comfortable ride experience can really make or break how much you’re going to enjoy or regret your ride. In the Episode, Amanda and I (Paul) decided to give you all our tips on making your riding experience as comfy as possible.

Then for July, we started on a very offensive note by literally going at almost every big bike brands, killing every sponsor opportunity in our way. Well done us!

Finally, it was time to bring the team together again and record our Summer Special You’ll find details about Rob and Amanda’s bike packing trip, Paul’s journey though the US and other random bits.

Deep Dish Discussion episode six is finally here and In this episode, David and I, had the pleasure to discuss with Glen from Velobike! From 3D prototyping to full-on cutting edge engineering, Velobike is giving the professional track cycling what it needs, and in the best way possible.

The third and fourth episode of the Wheelhouse Sisters Podcast is out! Amanda and Christine had an amazing discussion with Emma Missale. Cycling Messenger World Champion and incredible rider, Emma, told us about her racing experience along her daily messenger job in Copenhagen. Then with rittany a.k.a @boogie_down_nyc! Racing in the streets, during criterium events, but also in the velodrome, Brittany is definitely cooler than you and me… And probably faster too!

This month’s Patreon Special episode is a recap of Matthias and I trip in the US. One week in San Francisco, followed by Chicago and Indianapolice, both of your favorite euro riders were exited and exhausted by this trip in FREEDOM COUNTRY. *bald eagle noises*

As usual, all our Patreon supporters get access to the entirety of the content we put online every week, but also to some physical goods for our top tier members.
