November’s Newsletter
Hello everyone!
Time to look back on everything that happened this November on slowspinsociety.com! It’s still a bit early for Elf movies and eggnog, but no worries, we’ll also do a “Christmas Special” this year. So without further ado, let’s see what the SSS team was up to this month!
Two episodes this month, with the much anticipated (for good or bad reasons) episode 69! The first idea was to do a quiz with final scores and everything. But it quickly turned into a quite quirky show. There isn’t that much I could say without spoiling it… So you’ll just have to listen for yourself.
Episode 70 was in sync with the recent cold wave that hit us recently. Fixed gear is fun, but when the weather goes cold, you might want to do something a bit different. From preparing your bike for the next season, to destroying a winter beater in the salt and snow, we pretty much covered it all.
These are also the two first episode by our new editor! We decided to hire the services of a pro to improve the workflow, and create more time to work on other things! Like the Patreon episodes!
This month Patreon special is the big return of TBC! Talking with Anthony from A-Frame about the two first Titanium prototypes he recently created. A quite impressive story, and we can’t wait to see the v3 coming out soon!

First this month is the first bike check that I (Paul) haven’t shot. Our friend Kang who traveled to Copenhagen two months ago, had the opportunity to shoot Karl’s Colnago Dream Pista! Still shot on film and aligned to the SSS aesthetic, Karl’s Colnago has been tearing the internet for a few years now, so it was time to do this thing justice, the SSS way.
Next-up this month is my update on trackpacking after the many kilometers I traveled this summer. Lesson learned, new tips to try next time, and a furious envy to travel even more in 2023! It’s all in there!
One more thing!
This month, we also released the second episode of Deep Dish Discussions! Episode 2 was all about the World Track Championship that happened in France last month. rom new equipment, to world record that happened during these five days of speed!
I hope everyone enjoyed this year of content! As usual, we’re all taking holidays for the end of the year, so no Newsletter next month!
