Stuff to Listen to…

This month kicked off a episode with Paul and Rob discusing things all car related! Weird for a cycling podcast? No….. they are talking about going car freeeee!

Paul and Rob both discuss the differences in attitudes in other countries with car free related travel or commuting, and the advantages and disadvantages of this life change.

The next episode in the month of november was the news episode, where the guys discussed or i should say Rob discussed how much he hates squid and BLB, arent they just annoying af… sorry tangent…

The guys went over the All city closing down and the next iteration of the mash AC series and what they think, along with some other news, to find out the rest you can go ahead and listen :)

The Deep dish discussions episode is the one all track nerds are waiting on, like a kid at christmas, except these kids asked mummy and daddy for a Dolan DF5. Some other mentions for the DDD is all about how Vittoria Bussi takes back the hour record in Mexico, the record which she first claimed in 2018!

And two records in one episode! We had Jeffrey Hoogland Breaking the 1KM world record!

Some Stuff to Read

First up on the blog post recap is philipps tracklo orlowski build! Philipp, a longtime supporter, has a penchant for trying unconventional things in the biking world. The focus is on his tracklocross Orlowsky bike, which stemmed from his fascination with a lugged steel frame bike he encountered during a night ride in Berlin. Despite owning entry-level fixed gear bikes, he was drawn to this custom-made Orlowsky frame and decided to pursue it, making it his third bike—a bold move. Philipp aimed for simplicity in the frame's geometry, sticking to what worked for him. When it came to the paint, he initially wanted just "blue" but ended up taking inspiration from a blue Golf car, which he shared with Orlowsky for a more precise custom paint job.

In 2023, the Slow Burnin’ Man festival, situated on a Japanese mountain, offers an unparalleled experience blending music, biking, friends, and a touch of wildness. This unique event combines multiple music stages, art spaces, food trucks, and notably, a challenging tracklocross course. This year's SBM served as a precursor to the CMWC of Yokohama, attracting a strong biking community, largely thanks to the dedicated efforts of Messcrib Tokyo's couriers and Slow Squad members who tirelessly organized and ensured the event's success.
