The Slow Spin Society Podcast Ep.10 - Is Wheel Building for You?

Hello to all friends, enemies, and frenemies,

This marks the 10th episode of the Slow Spin Society Podcast! We are happy with the progress we have made so far and the direction the podcast is going in. For this episode, we tackled the intimidating-but-no-so-intimidating topic of wheel building. Although the vast majority of us likely stick to either pre-built wheelsets or custom sets made by professionals, there is a small portion of the hobby that takes the whole DIY mentality to another level by lacing their own wheels. In this episode, we discuss the general process, required tools and materials, and the advantages and disadvantages of building wheels oneself. Make sure to check out the two blog posts on the website to have a more in-depth and technical guide to building your own wheels!
