The Slow Spin Society Podcast Ep.11 - Fixed Gear's Most Wanted - Cannondale Track with Amy Danger

Hi everyone!

This month’s Slow Spin Society guest is none other than Amy Danger! If you’re interested in wacky and cool 80s and 90s track frames (and builds), you’ve most likely already seen her collection online on Instagram. Besides showcasing her Cinelli Laser, Takhion, and Rossin, she is the proud owner of multiple Cannondale Tracks! This frameset is one of, if not, the most sought after and well-known frames in our little corner of the cycling culture.

Many of you can likely identify the frameset by appearance or even know the official colorway names, however, there are many bits of information about this historic piece that only a select few hardcore admirers know after years of researching, collecting, and riding them. In this episode, we learn more about the Cannondale Track and poke Amy’s brain about its (and other frames’) resale value nowadays, its lesser-known colorways, quirks, and more!

Here are some relevant links to things we discussed during the main cut of the podcast:

1993 Cannondale’s catalog (page 49)
