Description: The driver Marcel Rijckaert drove from 1956-59 for the team Dossche Sport Gent. Born on 21 July 1924, his active career Passed away at the age of 76 on 10 May 2001, only 19 days before my birth. After his active career he was a faithful mechanic and confidant of Eddy Merckx during his career. He himself celebrated his greatest successes at the Belgian Cycling Championships 1941 1st Novice / 1943 1st Professional / 1943 1st Junior. Dossche Sport Ghent still exists today (bicycle store from Ghent (Belgium) Unfortunately I have not been able to make contact with them. I would have liked to know more about the history of this frame. Strangely enough, the spelling on the frame is different from the one I could find.
