Hello everyone,
As we're entering the final stretch of the year, and without getting into a full retrospective just yet, let's take a look at what happened on SSS this October, as well as what's coming up over the next few weeks.
Let's start, obviously, with the completion of Bespoked Osaka! We'll be sharing articles featuring all the bikes we photographed at this incredible venue, starting in early December! In the meantime, bikes from Bespoked Dresden will gradually make their way onto SSS until the end of November.
Which means... there's only one more bike show to go before the end of the year, and it's going to be at Rouleur Live in London this November! I’ll mostly be hanging out around the Hunt booth, so don’t hesitate to come by, say hi, and hang out!
One more thing! slowspinsociety.com will be temporarily offline during the last week of November, from Sunday 22nd to Sunday 29th, as we're taking some time to work on the website.
To put it simply, SSS has grown quite a bit over the past few years, and there are a few things behind the scenes that need ironing out. We thought this would also be a good opportunity to freshen things up a little and make a few improvements along the way.
So, if you find us offline during that week, no panic! We'll be back before you know it.
Thanks for being here, and see you soon!
— Paul
As usual, I also want to take a moment to thank everyone who took out a membership or made a donation through Buy Me a Coffee. Thank you for keeping SSS alive!

Lowlands Crew goes to Rad Race Last Wo/Man standing.
If you've ever dreamed of experiencing the RAD RACE Last Wo/Man Standing, you can start by living it through the eyes of Ludek, who took the Lowland crew along for an unforgettable weekend in Berlin. A beautiful two-part story that takes you through the main race, but also dives into all the side events surrounding this epic criterium.
Hunt, Up Close: Service, Sustainability, and the People Behind your Wheels
When working with increasingly bigger brands, it can sometimes be easy to get the impression that we're simply taking in marketing messages from brand representatives and repeating them online. That's precisely why, as we start working with larger brands like Hunt, we're also making a conscious effort to look beyond the products themselves and find common ground in the values and people behind the brands we collaborate with. And this article is pretty much about that.
BSBC x Stratos Vol.3: Championship on the Line!
More news from the BSBC crew and their custom Stratos bikes. With everyone now fully kitted out with their impressive custom-ordered frames, it’s time to wrap up the final races of the year and start looking ahead to the next season. And once again, beautifully captured on film by Melo, who we hope to see more and more of on SSS.
Bespoked Dresden 2026!
Finally, as mentioned in the intro, the bikes from Bespoked Dresden are slowly making their way onto SSS. As always, there are some pretty impressive builds in the mix, offering a nice contrast to what we saw earlier this year at MADE. European framebuilding culture is flourishing once again, and we're absolutely here for it!
Of course, every article is up and live for you to enjoy wherever you are, eating your Halloween treats, or already putting up the December decorations.
Collective Take:
As we’re giving a fresh coat to SSS, tell us what you’d like to see! New features? Maybe some design changes? We’d love to know!
