Spring is finally here.

With the sun finally coming out, I had more opportunities to take nice pictures while having a great time outside. Even though France is now under lockdown mode again, I am trying to get as much time away from the city as I can (always with safe distancing of course). I also finally finished my new bike and the conditions are ideal for testing something pretty different than usual. You'll know more about that in one of the next write-up coming to the blog soon!

The Podcast is slowly getting there!

We just released the 8th episode of the podcast and are so happy to see our audience grow and get more involved with our projects. This month we talked about track packing, keirin, dream bikes, and more! All these episodes are packed with information so make sure to check the show notes on the blog for every episode. Additionally, we had the immense pleasure of having Aaron Panone, the mastermind behind the highly sought-after AARN rings, on the show! We discussed his entry into the fixed gear parts world, his moves as an independent manufacturer in a scene ripe with big-name companies, and his thoughts on some aspects of the fixed-gear bicycle culture. (This episode’s pre-and aftershow has some more juicy news and insights😉)

We are also very thankful to all our Patreon supporters. As of today, we have 9 subscribers listening to the extended version of the podcast. This month you guys got around 160 minutes (2h40) of extra content! Or almost like 3 episodes of us just joking around and talking about even more bike stuff and other shenanigans. Thank you so much! 🙏

What's on the blog this month?

I'm always quite impressed by how much time I end up taking to do these write-ups, but it's always a rewarding feeling in the end and a pleasure to share with you what I do and shoot on film, This month you'll find a two-parter on how to build custom wheels, from choosing the right parts to actual lacing and truing. There are also some entries on small adventures like my trip to Annecy or a nice and snowy tracklocross session in Paris. Finally, you'll find the bike-check of my trusty Mash Work that I take everywhere with me.

We are really happy with where the podcast and the blog are going and we're looking forward to all that's coming. On that note, I will let you in on the pic of this month... See you in Mai 😎
